UPCOMING EVENTS!

 

The SRWC needs members to volunteer their home for a variety of events for the upcoming club year.  To encourage members to commit early, we will put the names of all member volunteers into a drawing to win a pair of season tickets to the Scripps Ranch Theater season 2010-11 valued at $180.  The drawing will take place the evening of September 2, at our next Board Meeting.  To be entered into this drawing, you must call or email Joette with the event and date (if known) you are able to host.  Your chance to win is better than one in nine, so review the information below and volunteer before the drawing deadline of September 1.

          Pre-Theatre Parties (6:00pm to 7:30pm). 
Host provides cups/wine glasses for beverages and paper plates and utensils for appetizers the attendees bring to share.  The dates available are:

  • Friday, October 1 (Social Security)
  • Friday, December 3 (Death Trap)
  • Friday, January 21 (Painting Churches)
  • Friday, April 1 (Crimes of the Heart)
  • Saturday, May 21 (Rounding Third)

        Membership Brunch (Date TBD by Host—usually in April or May)
Host provides outdoor setting on a Saturday or Sunday from 11am to 2pm.

Fall Party (Date TBD)—for couples or member/guest on a Saturday evening
New Year’s Eve Party (12/31/10)—for couples or member/guest

Spring or Summer Party (Date TBD)—for couples or member/guest on a Saturday evening

Get the word out about your business.  Our members are encouraged to frequent the businesses that help our organization through their advertising dollars.  Members price is $40.00 for 3 months, and non-members prices is $50.00 for 3 months.  Please contact Susan Larson at 537-9553 for advertising.
