 | Scripps Ranch Women's Club (SRWC)
The SRWC was organized in 1990 as a nonprofit community service organization. Its goal is to promote community service for Scripps Ranch and to serve as a social
outlet for its members. From 28 charter members, the club has grown over the years
with members of all ages. The SRWC prides itself in being a warm, friendly group, who is always pleased to welcome guests and new members to functions and meetings. If
you have an interest in learning how to join the SRWC, please visit our membership
page. |
 | "Women United In
Community Spirit"
The SRWC is an energetic organization that has been recognized for its fundraising abilities
as well as exciting social events. Grand parties such as the Great Gatsby Gala and the
Luck o'the Irish Casino Night helped the organization raise over $30,000 in their first three years. The Holiday Craft Bazaar, our published Cookbook and our most recent fundraiser a Champagne Brunch and Fashion Show are sources for the SRWC to provide annual
$1,000 Scholarships to female Scripps Ranch High School students. All other proceeds are
donated to the community. Areas that have benefited are the Scripps Ranch Community
Library, all the local schools, school parent-teacher associations, community parks, the
Symphony in the Park series, the Community Theater, The Scripps Ranch Civic Association
as well as the Hidden Valley House Women's Shelter. Click our links

 | Social Outings and Special
Event
The SRWC provides an excellent opportunity to meet other women in the community and
build new friendships. As a social outlet, members enjoy a wide variety of activities including
monthly Bunco games, International Dining and Epicurean Elite. Trips to the Del Mar Races, Designer Showcases, Fashion Shows and Theater Nights are all popular outings.
General Meetings are held regularly throughout the year usually on the third
Wednesday of the Month, featuring exciting and contemporary speakers and presentations. Annual Events include the Installation Dinner, Membership Brunch and our Holiday Cookie Exchange. Most of the Social functions are open to spouses, and guests are always welcome! |
